Villa W is a project created by the international cooperation of two VMarch + partners Banja Luka (BiH) project partners and CoCreator AS Bergen (NOR). The project is based on the cooperation of two architects, Vujadin Milosavljević and Lars Clementsen Pedersen). Lars prepared the basic sketch of the object, determined the materialization, while Vujadin worked on the realization of the project itself. The indecisiveness of the investor over materialization was ultimately conditioned by two solutions, that is, one design and two material choices.
The building is located in a populated area on the coast of one of the many Norwegian fjords. The mixture of modern and traditional Nordic style is the basic design element, with the emphasis of the object facing the fjord.
The communication between the common and individual rooms, makes he contents and the functions of the space connected in a unique whole, which creates a suitable family space.
The glass walls of the living spaces allow for almost completely open and good communication with the terrain. Large glass walls, the height of the whole floor, both in the basement and on the ground floor of the building direct the light to the space of the house and integrate the outer and inner space. Most rooms, such as a living room, dining room, parental room, and TV room, open onto a terrace that offers views of the fjord and the surrounding area. Carpentry and its application, along with organization and form, are an important conceptual element of the house.
This was the first collaboration between the two architects who continued and continued.
